In addition to my entries about my excursions I’d like to write this entry around my excursion to Taipei. Press conference The main reason of going to Taipei was to visit a press conference about the International Costal Cleanup Day with should take place the following Sunday. It was the first time all participating organizations hold a press conference together including the Tainan Community University. Xqg/s594/1285761408_0.jpg For those who don’t know what the Coastal Cleanup Day is, here a short explanation: Because our oceans are full of all kind of rubbish, some environmental organizations are making costal cleanup’s each year with includes removing of the litter and collecting of data about the collected items. JSg/s594/1285761481_0.jpg After the press conference the representative hold a meeting about what to improve in this year’s program, with the know-how of the others.   Museum After a nice lunch we visited the Taiwan National Museum. The return in the bus was longer but not the less in a very comfortable bus.
