The Excursion to Dongshan Township was a trip into the Taiwanese nature. A place in the mountains with more species of Insects, Birds and Frogs then people around.

Colorful insects, high-flying eagles, tasteless coffee berries, loud frogs and mean mosquitoes. Everything seemed to gather there. It was a very nice experience for me to see a nature so different from what I am used to.

Restaurant where we ate dinner could be described like that: It was snug as a bug in a rug (considering how many bugs we met there). But nonetheless we enjoyed an excellent dinner. We were lucky enough to chose a place with a ceiling, the short and heavy rain was another interesting example of natural weather here.

Even though it brought a lot of unpleasant bug bites home with me it was a nice and interesting trip.
