The first November week I have been to Dongshan Township to take soil samples. The region has been used to dump industrial waste for the last years. But still lots of the locals life from framing, from what I saw especially oranges. It was interesting to see this, a hidden nasty, which is not to see from the outside.

We have been given a very warm welcome there. Guided around by the local city major. He showed where to take samples. Still some of the locals asked to test the soil in their garden too.

I should have made a better decision with my clothing, because short trousers and Flip-Flops are not really useful to walk through the underbrush.

We also visited a nearby landfill, incomprehensibly built in a national protected area.

Not to forget that the people there gave us a great many oranges, other fruits and even plants.
